Mission Statement
As the NASA Lead Center for applications development, Stennis Space Center will provide the remote sensing community with a comprehensive array of manmade and natural ground targets, measurement systems, and benchmark processes to help test commercial airborne and spaceborne remote sensing systems against performance specifications and customer needs.
The Verification and Validation (V&V) Team will accomplish this by applying the simplest, most straightforward methods to generate the most critical, highest quality products and services in the shortest amount of time and for the lowest cost. Our products and services will be driven by our constituents: commercial remote sensing data providers, the Earth Science Community, other government agencies, and the American public.
